WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible
because God inspired the men who wrote the books in it. Together they show God's complete plan for His creation. The Bible records words God spoke in His relationship with individuals, and nations, as well as His instructions for all mankind. The bible teaches us all we need to know so we can know God.
We believe in One God,
who has chosen to reveal Himself with distinction of persons, as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to whom equal honour is due.
We believe we are born in a state of sin
because sin entered the world through Adam and Eve's disobedience to God. We all also commit our own sin, all sin separates us from God, we cannot do anything ourselves to rectify this. We need help so,
We believe God the Son became a man
that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and was born to the virgin Mary and that He was named Yeshua - Jesus and grew and lived life as part of a family, with His (half) brothers and sisters under the care of Joseph His earthly father.
We believe God the Father sent the Son
to be the Saviour of the world. He was born to die, to give His life as the only acceptable, all sufficient sacrifice to God for the forgiveness of our sin.
We believe in the resurrection of Jesus
Christ from the dead and that He ascended to the right hand of God in heaven. There He is our only Great High Priest and advocate who acts on our behalf before God.
We believe Jesus is the ONLY way to God
because he said .." I am the way, the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father except through me." John 14:6
We believe God sent the Holy Spirit
to convict us of our sin, and to teach us that we must repent of our sin before God. The Holy Spirit shows us God's Grace that let's Jesus take our place and bear our sin and the judgement we deserve.
We believe the Holy Spirit
lives in us if we obey and follow Jesus Christ. That He enables us to bear the fruit of the Spirit, and gives us spiritual gifts, to benefit the church. He teaches us about the things of God and enables us to live to serve him, by doing good works.
We believe that satan is
a real person, currently prince of the power of the air, that along with his demons he has access to the earth to deceive, tempt and blind our eyes to God. Satan also has access before God where he accuses those who follow Jesus.
We believe the end of the world
as we know it is near. Soon a false Christ, the antichrist will arise and deceive the world. He will control the world systems, politically, financially and spiritually. To buy and sell you will have to bear his mark, and worship him. BEWARE!!
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ
to the earth. Before his feet touch down on the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem he will have gathered to himself all true believers, both those who were dead, now resurrected and those still living. Then He will defeat the antichrist and establish the kingdom of God on earth.
We believe in Heaven and hell
and that they are forever (eternal) that if we have chosen to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour, our names are written in the book of life and we will be with Jesus forever, but if we have rejected him we will instead be separated from God forever, sharing hell with antichrist, satan and his demons.
We believe that a church
should be devoted to what the apostles taught, to fellowship with God and each other, to baptism of believers and breaking bread together, to prayer and to letting the Holy spirit fill our lives and the church.
We believe in Jesus, do you?
because he said .." I am the way, the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father except through me.
